Privacy Policy

Welcome to Phone Clean Up-Storage Cleaner (the “App”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses or processes, how that information is collected and used, when it may be shared with third parties (including an optional third-party cloud image-processing service), how long it is retained, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Access and Why

To provide photo management, storage optimization, contact tools, and optional image-enhancement features, the App may request the following permissions:

Photo Library Access
Used to access photos and videos that you authorize, so we can provide:

• Duplicate photo detection;
• Similar photo identification;
• Blurry photo identification;
• Video compression and storage optimization;
• Private Space import/export;
• Optional black-and-white photo colorization and image clarity enhancement (only when you choose these features).

Camera Access
Used only when you choose to capture a photo for Private Space or for the optional photo colorization / clarity enhancement features.

Contacts Access
Used only when you enable contact management features. This permission helps identify duplicate contacts and organize contact information. Contact data is processed on your device for those features.

You can view, manage, or disable permissions at any time through your device settings. Some features may not work properly after permissions are disabled.

2. How We Process Data

2.1 On-Device Processing

Most features process photos, videos, and contact information locally on your device. For those local features, we do not upload your photo library, videos, or contacts to our own content servers.

2.2 Optional Third-Party Image Processing

If you use Photo Colorization or Image Clarity Enhancement, the App temporarily transmits the single photo you select to a third-party cloud image-processing service for one-time processing.

• Data sent: the image file you actively select (imported or captured for that action).
• Recipient: Baidu AI Cloud (百度智能云), a third-party cloud image-processing provider: https://cloud.baidu.com/.
• Purpose: only to perform the requested colorization or clarity enhancement for that single request.
• Transfer method: temporary transmission over an encrypted channel for one-time processing.
• Your permission: before these features can be used, the App presents an in-app notice explaining what data is sent, who receives it, and asks for your permission. If you disagree, the App will not upload the photo.

3. Face Data

This section explains how the App handles face-related information for App Store Guideline and transparency purposes.

• What face data the App collects: The App does not collect face biometric templates, faceprints, or facial geometry as standalone data types. When you choose to colorize or enhance a photo that happens to contain people, any face imagery is transmitted only as part of the full image you selected.
• Planned uses: The image (including any incidental face content) is used solely to provide black-and-white photo colorization or image clarity enhancement requested by you. It is not used for identity verification, face recognition, face matching, user tracking, advertising profiles, or login authentication.
• Sharing with third parties: For those optional colorization / clarity enhancement features only, the selected image may be temporarily shared with Baidu AI Cloud for one-time processing. We do not share face biometric identifiers with other parties for recognition or matching.
• Where information is stored: Local results may be stored on your device (Photos / App sandbox) if you save them. We do not operate a persistent content cloud archive of your uploaded original photos for these features.
• Retention: For the third-party cloud processing path, the uploaded original image is used only for that single operation and is not retained by us as a permanent cloud copy. Temporary processing materials are not kept for ongoing facial analysis.

The disclosures in this Section 3, together with Section 2.2 and Section 5, describe the App’s collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and retention practices regarding any incidental face content in user-selected images.

4. Information We Do Not Collect as a Business Practice

Unless you provide authorization for a specific feature, or disclosure is required by applicable law, we do not collect or seek to obtain:

• Your entire photo library or video library as a bulk upload;
• Your complete contact list for purposes unrelated to the contacts tools you use;
• Messages, call history, or social media account content;
• Precise location information;
• Face biometric templates used for identification or authentication.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With your permission: when you agree in-app to send a selected photo to Baidu AI Cloud for optional colorization or clarity enhancement;
• Service providers: the App may use crash / performance monitoring tooling necessary to keep the App stable. Such tooling may receive limited device and diagnostic information, and does not receive your photo library, contacts, or colorization / clarity enhancement images for marketing profiles;
• Legal requirements: when required by applicable laws or regulations.

Third parties that receive data for the purposes above are expected to process that data only to provide the requested service and to apply protections appropriate to the nature of the data.

6. Data Retention

• On-device content: photos, videos, Private Space items, and contact edits you keep on your device remain until you delete them or uninstall the App.
• Optional cloud photo processing: selected images are transmitted for one-time processing. We do not maintain a permanent online archive of those original uploads. Results you choose to save are stored locally under your control.
• Diagnostics: crash or performance logs, if any, are retained only as needed for stability and support.

7. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

• Review the in-app notice and choose Agree or Disagree before using colorization or clarity enhancement features;
• Manage application permissions in system settings;
• Delete processed images or other locally stored content;
• Remove locally stored information by uninstalling the App;
• Contact us regarding privacy-related questions.

8. Children's Privacy

We value children's privacy protection. Minors should use the App under parental guidance and consent.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that information from a child has been collected without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

9. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy due to feature changes, technical improvements, or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top will be revised when changes become effective. Material updates may also be communicated through the App or App Store listing where appropriate.
